(August 7, 2007, New York City, NY) – LAWFUEL – Preeminent legal strategy consultant Joshua Dubin, Esq. and his trial consulting firm have moved to 99 Hudson Street (8th Floor) in New York City to be closer to the courts where much of their work takes place.
Dubin and his team provide trial strategy; jury research, selection and monitoring; persuasive visual aids, change of venue surveys; community attitudinal surveys; discovery management; rhetoric consultation and at-trial technical support to the leading criminal defense and civil attorneys in the country.
A New York native and an attorney, Dubin interned with jury consulting pioneer Amy Singer, Ph.D., a nationally recognized authority in the field of litigation psychology, as a law school student at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Josh began consulting on jury selection in his second year of law school, while completing an internship with Dr. Singer that included work in applied social psychology and jury research (mock trial and focus group methodology).
After graduating from law school and becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Dubin returned to New York, where he helped build the jury research division at a major New York litigation consulting firm. In 2002, he founded Manhattan-based Dubin Research and Consulting.
Dubin has worked with scores of high profile criminal defense attorneys, as well as civil litigators, including Barry Scheck, Peter Neufeld, Gerald Shargel, Gerald Lefcourt, Fred Hafetz, Jay Eisenhofer, Gus Newman, Ron Fischetti, Maurice Sercarz, Roland Riopelle and Charles Ross.
Dubin explained, “My skill lies both de-selecting prospective jurors that will most-likely be biased against my client’s position, as well as in helping craft a story that will be both credible and persuasive, – from the standpoint of both rhetoric and demonstrative aids.”
