Peoria, August 21, 2017 – The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that William D. Trimble has joined the firm as a partner in the Peoria office, which has a long history of serving the litigation needs of clients throughout Central Illinois. Trimble is an experienced litigation attorney who has handled cases ranging from medical negligence defense and consumer fraud to bankruptcies on behalf of creditors. His experience will help Hinshaw continue to represent our clients in defense of complex commercial and professional negligence claims.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Trimble practiced for nearly two decades at a firm based in Decatur, Illinois. In this practice, he represented clients in all aspects of complex civil litigation, from intake and assessment through appeal, and on a broad range of legal issues including, but not limited to: medical negligence defense, hospital institutional negligence defense, trade secret litigation, non-competition contract litigation, corporate contract disputes, real estate contract disputes and insurance company fraud.

William Trimble is a graduate of the University of Illinois Law School (J.D.) and Grinnell College (B.A.). He is admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Additionally, Trimble is a member of the Decatur Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
