Hogan Lovells Grows Environmental Practice in Washington

 

Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Christie Iannetta joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as counsel in the Environmental practice group.

Iannetta is experienced in all phases of high-value and complex commercial litigation, including trial work, assessing litigation risk, claims and defenses, formulating litigation tactics and strategy, and taking and defending depositions.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Iannetta served as a Senior Trial Attorney at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, where she served as lead attorney in high profile enforcement matters against global vehicle manufacturer and equipment manufacturers. She provided comprehensive legal support and advice in complex investigations of vehicle and equipment manufacturers concerning safety related defects, non-compliances and violations of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. She also analyzed complex technical data and information amassed during safety investigations and assessed sufficiency of the agency’s legal and strategic positions in advising whether a recall was appropriate.

Iannetta earned her B.A. in sociology and Spanish from The University of Georgia, and her J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
