NEW YORK, 1 September 2015 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Oliver J. Armas has been named the new managing partner of the New York office. Armas handles cross-border litigation, international arbitrations, and internal investigations.
In addition, Business Restructuring and Insolvency partner Christopher R. Donoho III will take over as the new administrative partner.
“Since joining the firm, Ollie has quickly become a mainstay in our cross-border disputes and Latin America practices, and has a strong reputation among his peers for his work in complex domestic and international matters,” said Hogan Lovells CEO Stephen J. Immelt. “Chris is equally as respected for his commitment to the firm and has built a substantial practice around restructuring companies and protecting creditors’ rights. We are very excited for both Ollie and Chris to step into their new leadership roles in the New York office.”
Armas succeeds Dennis Tracey, who has been in the position since 2005 and will continue as Head of Litigation for the Americas. Donoho will take the place of partner David Dunn, who served as the administrative partner for 12 years. Dunn will continue to focus on his Litigation practice.
