K&L Gates Acts for Sellers in the Sale of SGA Property Consultancy Pty Limited to KPMG Australia

Sydney: Global law firm K&L Gates acted for the majority shareholders in the sale of 100% of the shares in SGA Property Consultancy Pty Limited (SGA) to KPMG.

Rowan McDonald, K&L Gates lead partner on the deal, stated: “The combination of KPMG and SGA will allow our clients to fast track their domestic and global growth ambitions and will provide a platform for growth of the combined businesses across Australasia and South East Asia.”

SGA provides property transaction, property management, corporate real estate, and environmental consultancy services to major property investors, managers, and operators across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

The formation of KPMG SGA creates a full-service real estate and construction consultancy with a deep pool of independent specialist consulting expertise in the Australian, New Zealand, and South East Asian real estate sectors.

The K&L Gates Sydney team advising SGA was led by corporate partner Rowan McDonald, supported by corporate lawyer David Cinque, real estate partner Jodie Masson, real estate senior associate Leisha de Aboitiz, and Singapore corporate partner Siew Kam Boon.
