Delaware Lawyers To Move to Mansion

Housing law firms in stately homes and historic homes has always been a favorite for many firms, now the Delware law firm Dolci & Panepinto is moving from its offices in Main Place Tower to an historic Delaware mansion.

The mansion, which was built in 1915 for the Foreman family, was acquired by 484 Cornell Mansion LLC, an affiliate of Panepinto’s law firm, buying it from Buffalo Land Holding Co. LLC, a local investment group.

Firm partner Marc Panepinto said the decision to leave the Main Place Tower, his firm’s home for the past 10 years, was a tough one to make.

“I view it that I am investing in my neighborhood,” Panepinto said. “To be able to buy a gorgeous E.B. Green-designed house is amazing.”

Panepinto hopes to move into its new offices in July.

The mansion-turned-offices has 27 rooms. It is considered one of the signature properties along Delaware Avenue’s “mansion row.”
