Lawfuel.com - Hue Jackson's firing from Oakland Raiders after new manager Reggie mcKenzie evaluated the job he had done in his first season as Head Coach.

SB Nation reports: McKenzie (hired yesterday) was evaluating the job Hue Jackson had done in his first season as Head Coach and apparently decided that one of his guys could do better. Per Adam Schefter, Jackson has been fired.

In one season with the silver and black, Jackson lead the team to an early lead in the division with a 7-4 record. He traded for Carson Palmer to be his Quarterback after Jason Campbell was knocked out for the season with a broken collarbone, but couldn't replace Darren McFadden when DMC missed half of the season with a leg injury. His team finished the year 1-4 and missed the playoffs after a season-ending loss to the San Diego Chargers.

This is now Reggie McKenzie's team. He may not be the Owner, but the fact that he was given the authority to get rid of Jackson on his second day with the team after Jackson had a fairly impressive first season points to the ex-Raiders Linebacker having Al Davis-like power over the organization.
