24 September 2011 - An eBay attorney has suggested that Craigslilst may have lobbied for a criminal subpoena in a federal investigation against eBay for allegedly stealing confidential information from Craigslist.
Craigslist, an online classifieds website, has claimed in a lawsuit that eBay used stolen information to start its own online advertising website.
The criminal subpoena referred to by the attorney was issued and served upon eBay last week. A grand jury is seeking information about eBay employees being involved in criminal activity.
