October 2011 - Skadden secured the dismissal of federal and state antitrust claims brought against the De Beers Group by a former customer who alleged that seven De Beers companies had monopolized and conspired to restrain trade in the gem-diamond industry.
Following two prior rulings dismissing claims against six of the seven defendants, on September 29, Judge Kimba M. Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered the dismissal of the remaining claims.
