Lawfuel.com - The Iowa race appears to have Mitt Romney attempting to secure his position as front-runner with his pronouncements about restoring America's glory and similar patriotic themes.
Romney is seeking to beat the five Republican presidential rivals and the former Massachusetts governor is topping most polls.
"This is an election about jobs, about our economy, about the budget, scale of government, but it's about something more," Mr. Romney said.
Also feeling buoyant after a considerible time seeming to be left to drift in rural Iowa is Rick Santorum who was feeling increasingly confident about the race for the nomination.
