Sedgwick LLP, the international Big Law firm, has lost dozens of attorneys last year, including 12 percent of its partners.
Law360 reports the departures streaming from the firm, which his shifting its practice away from areas like intellectual property law and real estate to focus on what the firm says are its core areas of practice.
Law360 collated ddata from 400 of the largest law firms in the US and found that Sedgwick’s partnership was substantially reduced, dropping from 146 partners in 2013 to just 128 last year, along with an overall drop in lawyers of 10 percent.
