Timothy Moppin Joins Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck as Partner in Firm’s San Francisco Office

Moppin has joined the firm as a litigation partner in its San Francisco office. Moppin has 25 years of experience in labor and employment, environmental and construction law.
Moppin’s employment practice focuses on the defense of management in race, sexual harassment and age-based discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, as well as employment litigation in state and federal courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California Labor Commission, Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and the Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board. Moppin also provides counsel and training to clients in complex employment matters, including employee terminations, trade secret protection, employee leaves of absence, workplace privacy, wage and hour matters and the design and implementation of employee handbooks, supervisor manuals and employment policies.

Moppin comes to Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck from Jackson Lewis where he was a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley.
