BOSTON, April 21, 2005 – Holland & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Boston partner David Scott Sloan has been re-elected to serve on the firm’s Directors’ Committee. The election occurred at the firm’s annual partners meeting, recently held in Orlando, Florida.
Sloan is the Deputy Section Leader for the firm’s Private Wealth Services Section and National Chair of the firm’s Estate Planning and Administration Practice. He has extensive experience advising wealthy families, executives of public companies, owners of family businesses, accountants, attorneys and physicians. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York. Sloan received his B.S. in 1982 from Binghamton University, his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 1985 and his LL.M in Taxation from Boston University in 1987.
The Directors’ Committee consists of 24 partners from Holland & Knight’s offices around the country and is the policy-making body of the firm. Members of the Directors’ Committee are elected for three-year terms.
