Philadelphia, PA – October 11, 2012 – Brian A. Berkley of Pepper Hamilton LLP has been appointed a website and social media editor for the Business Torts Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association for the 2012-2013 bar year.
Mr. Berkley is an associate, resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on arbitration and complex breach of contract litigation, securities, financial services, and mergers and acquisition-related litigation, business tort and non-compete litigation, international matters, and First Amendment and media litigation. Mr. Berkley has provided successful representation to Fortune 500 companies, midsize companies, and national and international clients.
As a website and social media editor, Mr. Berkley will work with the other editors to coordinate the substantive content added to the Business Torts Litigation Committee’s website and social media sites. He also will use these resources to increase the profile of the committee.
Mr. Berkley joined Pepper in 2005, after his graduation from Washington and Lee University School of Law. After serving a clerkship for the Honorable James F. McClure, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2006, he returned to Pepper in 2007. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University (B.A. 2001).
