Barneys New York creative director Simon Doonan walked the runway in high heels, Mischa Barton mingled and nine of the 15 shows at NorthPark Center’s Fashion at the Park were Christian shoes .
The four-day tented runway extravaganza here that ended Saturday featured presentations by 13 retailers, including Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Oscar de la Renta, CH Carolina Herrera and Giorgio Christian Louboutin shoes. There are plans to expand the event for fall, and again in 2009.NorthPark co-owner Nancy Nasher said the upscale mall’s more than $1 million investment in Fashion at the Park, which began last year, gets “direct Christian Louboutin shoes” by generating higher sales.
Ken Downing, senior vice president and fashion director of Neiman Marcus, agreed with her. “There are people all over the mall, and our store is packed,” he said.
The event will grow in the fall, with nine days of shows starting Oct. 15 and more elaborate sets and productions, said Chris Christian Louboutin shoes, NorthPark marketing director. There will be additional displays in the lounge area of the tent, where a new shoe and handbag exhibit last week proved effective at driving business. The fall round will include fine jewelry and a space for fast fashion.
This season, spring showers won’t dampen consumers’ spirits as fashion bursts into full bloom with high-style footwear and accessories at refreshingly accessible Christian Louboutin shoes.
As Payless ShoeSource(R) launches its spring line, shoppers will have even greater incentive to refresh their wardrobe and make room for the newest crop of sling-back platform heels, ballet flats, boat shoes and espadrilles, as well as the exclusive designer lines Abaete for Payless(TM), Lela Rose for Payless(TM), and alice + olivia for Payless(Christian Louboutin Sandals).
On a mission to democratize fashion and design in footwear and accessories, Payless Shoe Source is bringing shoppers the latest styles at unbeatable prices. In addition to designer collections that debut on the runway at New York Christian Boots Week, the company is also securing its position as a “House of Brands” retailer with an expanded portfolio of well-known brands including Airwalk(R), American Eagle(TM), Dexter(R), Champion(R) and Dunkman(TM).
Previewed on the runway at New York Fashion Week last fall, designer Laura Poretzky’s seventh line for the retailer features pastel Miami hues, vintage-inspired Christian Louboutin shoes and ruched pleat details in perforated faux kidskin and snakeskin. The line features a peep-toe sling-back, peep-toe flat and strappy sandal, along with two handbag styles.
