Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against TJX for Alleged Overtime Violations

A class action lawsuit filed by two former assistant managers of  Framingham-based TJX is claiming the company violated federal laws by not paying overtime.

The lawsuit was filed for New York Workers by the former employees of TJX who claim that they would be required to work 50 to 70 hours a week without compensation for their hours worked.  They also claim that and forced overtime without pay is common in TJX owned stores.

The class action suit is seeking compensation for the overtime hours. The plaintiffs have requested the courts require TJX supply a list of all assistant managers employed from 2011.
