The CMA Awards saw some lampooning of President Obama’s new healthcare law via its new website in a move that created some interest from country music stars Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, among others.
President Obama’s new health care law was ridiculed by Carrie Underwood when she used the Country Music Awards to sing “Obamacare by Morning”
And so the lyrics:
“Obamacare by morning.
Why’s this taking so long?
I’m going to wind up with hemorrhoids
If I sit here till dawn.
We’ll have cataracts and dementia.
Oh, this is gettin’ on my last nerve.
Obamacare by morningOver six people served.”
The special healthcare website took around 1100 visitors before experiencing technical difficulties, which is something that Obamacare have grown up with – although presumably not helped by Carrie Underwood’s Country Music Awards presentation.
