Debevoise represents Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in Closing of $5 Billion Fund

New York – January 8, 2010 – – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP represented Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC (“CD&R”) in the closing of a new private equity fund. The new fund is CD&R’s eighth buyout fund since it was founded in 1978. Amounts committed by third party investors, together with CD&R’s participation in the fund, total approximately $5 billion.
