Law firm Eversheds has been ranked at number 14 in Acritas’ Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index 2014.
Acritas’ Global Elite Brand Index 2014 is compiled from data derived from 1185 interviews with respondents in $1 billion plus revenue organizations across the world, who have senior responsibility for buying legal services.
All interviews were conducted by telephone in local languages across 55 countries between October 2013 and August 2014, as part of the ongoing Sharplegal survey.
The Sharplegal Global Elite Brand Index is determined through four open-ended questions to find out the first law firms to come to mind, the firms most considered for multi-jurisdictional deals, the firms respondents feel most favourable towards and the firms most considered for multi-jurisdictional litigation.
Commenting on the ranking, Bryan Hughes. Eversheds’ Chief Executive said:
“Being ranked in this league table is a real testament to how far we have come in our journey to be the global law firm that sets the standards. Over the last few years, Eversheds has invested heavily in international growth and we are really proud to be held in such high esteem by general counsel and to be recognised as a go-to law firm for multi-jurisdictional deals.”
Lisa Hart-shepherd, Acritas’ CEO said:
“Under ever-increasing pressure, in-house counsel are more business savvy, sophisticated and demanding than ever. In this dynamic, competitive market, the firms gaining brand strength most rapidly are those which consistently invest in understanding and listening to the market, adapt to meet clients’ evolving needs and aren’t afraid to take new approaches.”
