Fast and Accurate RF Vector Analyzer

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments ( has rolled out a fast and highly accurate RF vector analyzer which is a combination of light source synthesizer, a highly sensitive amplitude and phase receiver and S parameter measurement device. The analyzer accurately measures attenuation, return loss, impedance, Smith chart, VSWR, Group delay, phase, gain and frequency response. It also measures transmission, reflection, group delay and phase characteristics of various RF devices including amplifiers, coaxial cables, power dividers, antennae, couplers, attenuators, filters and isolators. This RF vector analyzer is designed for field engineers working in aerospace, defense and network equipment manufacturing, who characterize or troubleshoot RF components for mission-critical communication systems.
GAO Instruments’ RF vector analyzer, model A0200003, operates over the frequency range of 30kHz to 6GHz with a resolution of 1Hz. It performs four-channel simultaneous display for up to eight test curves. The analyzer offers an external video output port to connect with a display screen to convenient remote control and for demonstration purposes. Test results can be stored into nonvolatile memory, volatile memory and external disk. The output power ranges from -85dBm to 8dBm at an accuracy of 卤1.0dB. Standard parallel port, serial port, GPIB port and VGA port are available for data exchange.
