The international law firm Coudert Brothers LLP announced today the addition of Werner Walbröl as a Senior Adviser specializing in German and German-American markets. Mr. Walbröl, based in New York, will work with the firm’s U.S. and German lawyers to expand the services Coudert Brothers offers to German and German-American clients.

Mr. Walbröl joins Coudert Brothers from the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer.

“Werner Walbröl will bring added insight into the German market to our growing practice in this area,” said Anthony Williams, former Coudert Brothers Chairman and a leader of the firm’s German practice. “Since its founding, Coudert Brothers has been best known for pioneering legal work in cross border corporate transactions and dispute resolution. Today, America is more important than ever to German companies, and the addition of Werner Walbröl will benefit our clients through his in-depth understanding of German-American business.”

British MP George Galloway and his opponent the Daily Telegraph will leave no stone unturned to sort out what could be a spectacular libel case.
