

Kensington Swan is pleased to announce that Wook Jin Lee has joined the partnership.
Wook Jin joined Kensington Swan in September 2019 as Special Counsel and has already played an important role in the continued growth of the Corporate and Commercial team based in Auckland.
Wook Jin is a transactional lawyer who advises listed issuers, private businesses, private equity fund managers and high-net-worth individuals on the full suite of transactional and corporate advisory matters.
His expertise includes advising on mergers and acquisitions (including takeovers of NZX-listed companies, and private equity investment and divestment transactions), joint venture arrangements, corporate governance considerations, and equity capital raising transactions. He also advises on competitive processes, business-critical commercial contracts, and compliance with New Zealand company and financial markets legislation and the NZX Listing Rules.
Wook Jin has experience working across a wide spectrum of sectors, including electricity, technology, telecommunications, hospitality and insurance. Wook Jin regularly advises clients on cross-border investment transactions, which will become an increasing part of his practice with Kensington Swan combining with Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, in February 2020.
