WASHINGTON, DC (March 23) — Kilpatrick Stockton LLP announced today the addition of partners Helen Michael and Jeffrey Lenser to its growing and nationally-recognized Insurance Recovery Team. Ms. Michael and Mr. Lenser have joined Kilpatrick Stockton’s Washington, DC office from Howrey.

Ms. Michael also has extensive experience in class action practice and the formulation of effective strategies for defeating mass tort and other consumer claims, including theories governing the piercing of the corporate veil and the imposition of successor liability. She has counseled numerous clients on developing protocols and structuring transactions to guard against incurring vicarious liability for the obligations of corporate affiliates. Ms. Michael has lectured and written on a variety of subjects relating to insurance recovery and class-action litigation. She has recovered nearly a billion dollars in insurance proceeds for her clients.
