Kilpatrick Stockton announced today (April 25) the addition of Paula Hopper to the firm’s Government Affairs Team. Ms. Hopper is joining the firm’s Raleigh office as Counsel in the Employee Benefits, Labor and Employment Department.

Paula Hopper has extensive experience advising clients on matters relating to election law, campaign finance and government ethics at both a state and federal level. Ms. Hopper regularly advises corporations and its management about political law compliance programs, corporate compliance policies and executive training.

Ms. Hopper’s expertise includes conducting corporate internal investigations relating to campaign finance and lobbying law compliance, representing Political Action Committees (“PACs”), as well as creating, administering, and fundraising for both federal and state PACs. In addition, she regularly lobbies on behalf of her clients before various Southeastern General Assemblies, Gubernatorial Offices and Congressional Staff. Previous clients have included several Fortune 300 companies, including major manufacturing companies and financial institutions throughout the country.

Ms. Hopper received her B.S. from Meredith College and her J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law.
