NEW YORK, NY (January 19, 2011) – Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, P.C. is pleased to announce that Jodi F. Krieger has been elected a member of the firm, effective January 1, 2011.
Ms. Krieger, who joined the firm in 2007 as Counsel, focuses her practice on estate planning and wealth management for high-net worth individuals. She represents clients in all phases of complex estate and trust administration, including income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax matters. She also advises clients in all phases of forming, managing and terminating charitable organizations, including public charities, private foundations and private operating foundations. In addition, Ms. Krieger advises clients in marital planning, including the preparation and negotiation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Ms. Krieger is a graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M., 2000), Brooklyn Law School (J.D., 1988), and State University of New York at Binghamton (B.A., 1985). She is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey. Ms. Krieger is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section, and the New York City Bar Association.
