Law Firm Debevoise Advises Carlyle in Acquisition of Majority Interest in Booz Allen Hamilton’s US Government Consulting Business

New York – May 16, 2008 (Lawfuel) – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising The Carlyle Group in connection with its acquisition of a majority stake in the US Government Consulting business of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. In the transaction, Booz Allen will separate its global commercial businesses from its US government business and merge the government business into an entity that will be owned by Carlyle and Booz Allen partners active in the government business. The merger transaction has a value of $2.54 billion.
