G. Smith announces that a securities class action lawsuit has been
filed on behalf of persons who purchased the common stock of Occam
Networks, Inc. (“Occam Networks” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq:OCNW)
between May 2, 2006 and April 17, 2007, (the “Class Period”). The class
action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the

Company’s financial performance, thereby artificially inflating the
price of Occam Networks securities.
