Lawfuel – Legal Newswire – Brussels – Leading Belgian real estate lawyer, François de Montpellier, has been appointed as a partner in DLA Piper’s Real Estate Group.
François assists local and international clients across a broad range of legal issues, including asset and share deals relating to real estate investments in the business, residential, hotel and logistic sectors; real estate development including urban planning and environmental aspects; real estate securitisation; the optimisation of real estate portfolios notably via sales & lease back operations and legal advice to owners and occupants in case of litigation.
He will work closely with Dirk Caestecker, DLA Piper’s head of real estate in Belgium, to expand the range of services offering to its local and international clients, covering Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
