LAWFUEL – Paris Hilton, Britney Spears Law News – Socialite Paris Hilton has been spared the indignity of having highly personal items sold online by a US judge who has issued a temporary injunction against the website ParisExposed.com to stop selling personal pictures, videos, diaries, and other items.
Hilton sued the Web site ParisExposed.com last month, accusing it of exploiting her private personal belongings for commercial gain. The injunction issued Friday temporarily bars the Web site from releasing Hilton’s social security number, health data and other personal information.
The items on the website were bought after Hilton failed to pay a $200 storage fee and included videos, records of a miscarriage and a prescription for genital herpes.
According to Hilton’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, the judge ordered the temporary shut-down “because the site violated my client’s right to privacy and was a copyright infringement.”
However, the injunction did not stop the release of a home video showing Hilton saying: “We’re like two niggers” as she danced with her sister Nicky. She also called “Faggot” to another dancer.
