London – LAWFUEL – IT Law News – DLA Piper has been appointed by Birds Eye Iglo Group to advise it in relation to a significant IT procurement.
Birds Eye Iglo Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of frozen food with an annual turnover of in the region of £1billion, was acquired by Permira Funds in November 2006 from Unilever. As a consequence of this acquisition, Birds Eye Iglo will be implementing its own integrated IT infrastructure and engaging providers to assist with its ongoing operation.
DLA Piper will assist Birds Eye Iglo in the negotiation of the contractual arrangements necessary to implement this IT infrastructure and thereafter outsource selected elements of its operation. DLA Piper partner Kit Burden and senior associate Duncan Pithouse successfully pitched for the work from Birds Eye Iglo.
