Microsoft’s high-profile legal problems in the European Union are just one of the antitrust challenges the U.S. software giant has faced in the last decade.

The European Commission will fine Microsoft on Wednesday for failing to carry out antitrust remedies imposed in the EU executive’s landmark 2004 decision that the firm abused its market power to elbow out rivals.

Other governments and private litigants in Asia, Europe and the United States have made similar charges that Microsoft abused the dominance it holds through the presence of Windows on more than 90 percent of the world’s personal computers.

Reuters reports a summary of antitrust challenges Microsoft has faced around the world, including South Korea, Japan, the US and the EU.
