gamadia_tushna_lawfuelNEW YORK – The Law Firm Newswire – Morrison & Foerster today announced that Tushna Gamadia, a highly experienced real estate finance lawyer, has joined the firm’s New York office as of counsel. Ms. Gamadia follows the recent arrival of veteran real estate finance lawyer Lawrence Ceriello, who joined Morrison & Foerster as a partner last month. Ms. Gamadia and Mr. Ceriello previously practiced together at Nixon Peabody.

Ms. Gamadia brings more than a decade of experience representing clients in all aspects of real estate financings, including commercial mortgage-backed securities, syndicated loans, preferred equity and private equity transactions. She frequently advises investors in the acquisition, development and operation of commercial properties. She also works with buyers and sellers in the sale of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans as well as participation interests and repurchase facilities in the secondary market. Ms. Gamadia has additional experience with distressed assets, advising creditors and debtors in restructurings, debtor-in-possession and exit financings.

“Tushna brings a broad range of complex deal experience that enhances our robust financing capabilities, especially on the CMBS side. Her experience working with Larry Ceriello will no doubt bring synergies to our team and add value to our clients,” said Mark Edelstein, chair of MoFo’s Real Estate Finance and Distressed Real Estate practices. “Our group has been on the front lines in many of the biggest-ticket commercial real estate financings announced so far this year and Tushna’s well-rounded practice is a great asset.”

Mr. Ceriello added, “Tushna is highly proficient in all aspects of real estate finance, especially in CMBS and portfolio lending. She provides top-quality representation and her clients can entrust her with sophisticated transactions.”
