CHICAGO, August 11, 2015 – Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP has expanded its Corporate & Securities practice group with the addition of Xuehui “Cassie” Zhang as an associate.
Zhang focuses her practice on a wide range of complex corporate transactions, including securities offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission reviews and sales and tender offers.
Her prior experience includes acting as a U.S. associate based in Hong Kong and Beijing for Herbert Smith Freehills, where she drafted offering circulars, prospectuses and memoranda on issues involving U.S. securities law. More recently, she was a corporate associate at Kirkland and Ellis LLP.
Zhang earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was on the staff of the Columbia Business Law Review. A fluent Chinese speaker, she also was active in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Society of Chinese Law. Zhang earned her B.A. from University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, with distinction in International Relations.
