A new law firm has been set up by former BHP Law Workers in Stockton, handling property matters, including property sales, purchases and re-mortgaging work.

The firm, Core Legal, has been set up by Sally Hare, Keith Ahmed, Claire Hewitt and Jo Anderson, BDaily reports.

Specialising in property services for those buying, selling and re-mortgaging, the new law firm’s legal teams are in place working with local clients, estate agents and national conveyancing panels.

Core Legal managing director Sally Hare, 33, was previously Head of Private Client Services at BHP Law, managing a team of 40 staff dedicated to residential conveyancing.

“We’re all working with the same aim and that is to drive the business forward and to grow our business here in Teesside, creating new jobs and delivering first choice legal services to our clients.“

Marketing director Claire Hewitt, 40, added: “The property market is moving fast. Processes are becoming more streamlined and there are exciting, new advances in technology all the time.
