According to reports by a pedestrian accident lawyer in Los Angeles, a pedestrian was fatally injured in a North Hollywood hit and run.
The hit and run occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. in the vicinity of the Satsuma Avenue and Vanowen Street intersection in the NoHo area.
According to reports a motorists was the person lying by the curb, and called 911. The person that was fatally injured is reported to be a male in his 20’s or 30’s and was struck by a vehicle, whose driver did not remain at the scene of the accident.
The Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Sgt. Ben Alonso the watch commander at the Hollywood division stated that the area was not marked with a crosswalk where the man was struck, and that no witnesses have come forward. Sgt. Alonso stated the Los Angeles police are not sure what occurred yet, but there are cameras in the area. They are eager to see if these will have caught the driver and vehicle that fled the scene of the accident.
The identity of the man that was fatally injured has not been released pending notification of his family. The information that has been released is the man is believed to be in his 20’s or 30’s and is of Hispanic decent.
