SAN FRANCISCO– LAWFUEL – US Law Newswire –Larry Drumm, a senior associate attorney at San Francisco-based Berry Appleman & Leiden, was elected chair of the Northern California chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), effective this month.
Drumm, who has been a member of AILA since 1997, will chair the 600-member Northern California chapter of this prominent association of immigration lawyers for the next four years. He succeeds outgoing chair, Angela Moore.

Drumm, who has been with Berry Appleman & Leiden for eight years, has an extensive background in all aspects of business immigration law, regulation and policy. He regularly speaks on immigration topics involving human resources, recruiting and retention issues and has published numerous articles on these topics. He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Regent’s and Chancellor’s Scholar. He holds a law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where he served as an associate editor of the Hastings International & Comparative Law Review.
