WASHINGTON–LAWFUEL – Law Firm Newswire – Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. announced that four of the firm’s attorneys — Charles D. Ferris, David Barmak, Howard J. Symons, and Susan Neuberger Weller — were selected as Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers for 2007. Charles D. Ferris is a member in the firm’s Washington office, practicing in the Communications Section. His practice focuses primarily on communications and federal relations law. He was named to the 2006-2007 Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and 2007 Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Ferris received his B.A. from Boston College (1954), and his J.D. from Boston College Law School (1961), where he was a member of the Boston College Law Review. He received an honorary doctorate from Boston College (1978). David Barmak is a member in the firm’s Washington office, where he practices in and chairs the firm’s Employment, Labor and Benefits Section. Howard J. Symons is a member in the firm’s Washington office and practices in the Communications Section. Mr. Symons represents a wide range of cable, wireless, and telecommunications companies and trade associations in regulatory and legislative matters, including implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and ongoing legislative review of the act.
