Winston-Salem (May 30) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that four members of the firm’s Winston-Salem office were honored at the 10th Annual Black Achievers in Business and Industry Awards Gala. Kilpatrick Stockton’s Jocelyn Burton, Randy Eaddy, Amber Johnson, and Corena Norris-McCluney were among the 24 individuals honored at the program to share their time and talents in the Black Achievers Program during the 2007-2008 school year as mentors and volunteers to help the youth enrolled in the program. They were selected to serve because of the valuable contributions they make in the workplace and their interest in serving the community.
The Black Achievers Program is a career exploration and academic enhancement program for middle and high school students. With the assistance and guidance of African Americans in business, industry, government, and non-profit organizations, young people are encouraged to develop and pursue educational and career goals.
