DLA Piper is proud to announce that 41 lawyers worldwide have been promoted to its partnership for 2010. In addition to the new partners, 23 lawyers at DLA Piper have been promoted to legal director and 91 to its associateship. The promotions, effective from 1 January 20101, were made across all key practice areas throughout DLA Piper’s global network.
The Litigation and Regulatory group saw the largest intake of new partners, with 18 promotions. Corporate saw 10 promotions, followed by Finance (6), Employment, Pensions and Benefits (3), Intellectual Property and Technology (2), and Real Estate (2). Sixteen partners were promoted in Continental Europe, 14 in the US, 9 across the UK and a further two in Asia. Within Europe, three promotions were in Italy while offices in the Netherlands, Russia and Poland grew by two new partners each.
