About the role

Our Projects and Real Estate department is looking for a real estate lawyer to join our team in the Auckland office.

We are at the forefront of commercial real estate transactions and projects in New Zealand and advise on all aspects of property law including real estate acquisitions and disposals, leasing, projects, developments and finance, property advisory work, as well as property restructuring and insolvency. Our clients comprise the full spectrum of real estate market participants, including developers, landlords, tenants, investors, iwi groups, central government and local authorities.

We are looking for an experienced lawyer who has the drive and ambition to get things done. We have a friendly and supportive team, and we are after a team player to join us who is conscientious, a quick learner and keen to be part of our successful and growing Auckland practice.

Experience and qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good commercial judgment
  • Broad experience in real estate transactional work
