This is more than just a legal role \u2014 it&#8217;s an opportunity to help shape culture, champion fairness, and support leaders across a dynamic and evolving organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll be part of a close-knit team of experienced employment lawyers, providing expert guidance on a wide range of Employment and Industrial Relations matters \u2014 from enterprise bargaining and dispute resolution to change management and investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this permanent, full-time position (with flexibility to WFH 1 day per week), you\u2019ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both strategic projects and day-to-day workplace relations issues \u2014 all while helping leaders live the organisation\u2019s values in every decision they make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What we\u2019re looking for&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A lawyer with 3\u20136 years\u2019 post-admission experience in Employment Law or ER\/IR, with a current New Zealand (or Australian) legal practising certificate, or eligibility to hold one<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong technical knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, and proven experience working with Unions and within collective agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience advising on investigations, disputes, performance management and change processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset that balances legal risk with commercial outcomes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and senior leaders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience mentoring or upskilling leaders on ER\/IR matters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confidence managing sensitive situations with discretion, calm, and professionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the business<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This iconic New Zealand organisation is a globally recognised innovator in the healthcare technology sector.
