You will work alongside another National Legal Counsel with a function to support our busy team of Prosecutors and our national office team, providing advice on a wide range of legal issues that arise with respect to this important work.<\/p>\n We are looking for a keen and committed lawyer to take up this full-time permanent role.<\/p>\n This is a unique role that offers a variety of interesting work. You will have the opportunity to provide authoritative legal leadership across Police Prosecution Services, supporting PPS to deliver a nationally consistent, high\u2011quality prosecution service. As a senior and highly experienced criminal law practitioner, the role focuses on strategic legal advice, setting and maintaining prosecution standards, and guiding responses to complex, novel, or high\u2011risk legal issues. Central to the role is influencing policy, practice, and system improvement.
