We have a unique and rewarding opportunity in our Auckland office for an experienced commercial lawyer who is looking to take their career in a new direction.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for a\u00a0<strong>Commercial and Knowledge &amp; Development Lawyer<\/strong>\u00a0to join our team. This is a varied and people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others and shaping best practice across the firm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll do:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll play a key role in the coaching and development of junior lawyers, as well as the design and maintenance of our commercial department\u2019s precedents, toolkits, training and client-facing resources. Working closely with our Commercial authors, Learning &amp; Development, and Marketing teams, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating the annual training programme for the Commercial team;<\/li>\n<li>Coaching and mentoring junior lawyers;<\/li>\n<li>Keeping the practice group informed of law\/policy changes and market developments;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and enhancing key precedents and user guides; and<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating on submissions and marketing materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we\u2019re looking for:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years\u2019 commercial law experience. A passion for legal education, team development or knowledge management is essential, and in-house experience would be useful. You\u2019ll be someone who naturally builds strong relationships and brings confidence, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset to your work. This is a role where you can genuinely make your mark \u2013 and we\u2019ll support you to do so.
