NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, one of the world’s leading international law firms, announced that James T. Bailey has joined the firm as Special Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department concentrating on intellectual property and patent infringement litigation and counselling. Mr. Bailey will be based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Bailey, a former partner at Kirkland & Ellis, will focus primarily on litigating patent infringement cases involving a wide variety of technologies as well as other intellectual property litigation and counseling on intellectual property matters. Mr. Bailey received his B.A. and M.S., with high distinction, from the University of Virginia. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was honored with the Saul L. Nadler Memorial Award. Mr. Bailey is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in the State of New York.
