International law firm Simmons & Simmons’ highly rated Dispute Resolution group has expanded with the hire of financial law expert Guido Roth as partner and associate Janice Roepnairan.
Guido will join the Amsterdam office on 1 November 2013 and Janice will join on 1 December 2013.
Guido is a leading practitioner in financial litigation, focusing on contentious financial regulatory and sanctions law, and has a strong knowledge of the Financial Institutions Sector. He joins from Spigt Litigators (based in Amsterdam) where he was both Partner and the financial regulatory practice group head. Janice is joining from Boekel de Nerée (also based in Amsterdam) and advises and litigates on financial regulatory law, including regulations concerning banks, investment institutions, insurers, pension funds and financial service providers. She regularly acts on behalf of the Dutch supervisory authorities.
