Quick Question: When Was Judge Judy Elevated to the US Supreme Court?

What acerbic comment would Judge Judy have to say when told that 10 per cent of recent college graduates think she’s on the US Supreme Court?

She may think she SHOULD be on the Supreme Court but the sharp-tongued television jurist would be the first to castigate the dumbness that is shown in a recent college survey: A Crisis in Civic Education.

As FoxNews commentator Todd Starnes observed:  “Parents your child’s B.A. may in fact be a bunch of B.S.”

Too true.

Judge Judy (Judith Sheindlin) would doubtless observe to those dummies with grad degrees and who may have appeared as defendants on her show:

“I’m older – smarter. If you live to be a hundred twenty you’re not gonna be as smart as I am in one finger.”

The survey, conducted by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni describes itself as an independent organization committed to academic freedom, excellence and accountability at America’s colleges and universities.

But their findings reveal “that recent college graduates are alarmingly ignorant of America’s history and heritage.”

So apart from the Judge Judy elevation in the minds of these dopes, what else did they fail to know?

Evidently students could not identify the father of the U.S. Constitution or name one of our First Amendment Rights.

Last November Pew Research Center released a survey that showed 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 34 believe the government should be able to ban any speech that is offensive to minority groups.

And, as Todd Starnes notes, for what it’s worth, kids – the “Right to Bear Arms” has nothing to do with limbs or opposable thumbs.

And that brings us to the nearly ten percent of American college kids who think Judge Judy is on the Supreme Court – holding forth with Justice Scalia and Justice Thomas and the one that always falls asleep during President Obama’s speeches.

It should really not be that much of a surprise that our taxpayer-funded universities and colleges are churning out boatloads of ignoramuses.
