12 November 2004 – LAWFUEL – Law, legal, law firm news – Hong Kong – Shearman & Sterling LLP’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices have advised the underwriters, led by Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., in the US$71.5 million initial public offering and NASDAQ listing of American depository shares of eLong, Inc.

eLong, Inc. is a leading provider of online and offline travel services
in China.

Hong Kong capital markets partner Leiming Chen, Beijing capital markets
associates Ling Huang and Li Chen, New York banking & finance associate
Xueli Mao, Hong Kong capital markets associate Blake Dunlap and legal
assistant Maggy Chan were in the core transaction team. Attorneys from
firm’s Menlo Park office including partner Larry Crouch and associate
