22 July - LAWFUEL - The Law News Network - New York - Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Globo Comunicações e Participações S.A. ("Globopar") in the successful completion of the restructuring of approximately US$1.3 billion of its debt. Converted bonds will be issued, and cash will be paid pursuant to the previously-announced Dutch Auction and Mandatory Purchase, in each case as soon as practicable. The international Debevoise team was led by partners Michael J. Gillespie and Steven R. Gross in New York and Katherine Ashton and Peter Hockless in London, and included associates Jasmine Powers, Alexia Breuvart and Nekia S.
