28 June 2004 – LAWFUEL – London-based law firm, Lawrence Graham, is pleased to announce today the launch of LG Corporate Investigations – a multi-disciplinary team of experts who advise clients on the potential for corporate risk and implement solutions to contain and minimise it, while also offering a full investigation service for those faced with possible fraud or regulatory breach.

The team is also ideally positioned to advise businesses or directors who may require independent advice; both independent of the company and its existing advisors.

Led by partner Andrew Witts, a specialist in corporate fraud and international asset tracing, the team brings together the firm’s wide-ranging expertise in areas including: corporate governance; financial services regulation; corporate killing; white-collar crime; Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise investigations; competition law; environment, health & safety; solvency issues; insurance; and employment law.

Andrew says:

“While our clients will continue to benefit from our individual expertise in these areas, there is a demand now for a complete, one-stop service that can guide them through all stages of the increasingly complex regulatory minefield. LG Corporate Investigations is a flexible service that can be tailored to a client’s own circumstances and needs.”

He adds:

“Our clients face increasing pressure to minimise business risk and demonstrate good corporate governance. We are responding to their need for discreet, experienced risk advisors who not only respond quickly to problems when they happen, but also implement pro-active measures to prevent them from occurring.”
