LAWFUEL – The Law Newswire – A report from WTOP News warns subscribers to look at their July Comcast bills because of changes to Comcast’s subscription agreement.
According to the report, customers who fail to opt out within 30 days of receiving their Comcast Arbitration Notice will lose their right to pursue legal remedies against the company in court – including claims for negligence, fraud or other wrongdoing. In effect, the subscriber loses his or her right to sue Comcast, but Comcast retains their right to sue the subscriber.
Comcast customers can “opt out” of the Arbitration Notice either online or by mail (include name, address, account number and a statement that you do not wish to resolve disputes with Comcast through arbitration
